The 8th China Yiwu International Hardware & Electrical Appliances Expo commenced on April 20 in Yiwu, drawing an impressive crowd on its first day.

The three-day expo included over 2,100 booths and 1,600 exhibitors across its 60,000 square meter space and featured a diverse range of products from hardware tools to electronic appliances, attracting companies from various provinces.

The expo is expected to welcome over 80,000 professional buyers, reflecting its growing prominence. Zhang Xiaochun, a returning exhibitor from Wenzhou Qimiao Shuangshou Technology Co Ltd, noted the influx of foreign merchants with clear purchasing intentions, many of whom are coming from the Canton Fair.

Shimi brand's representative, having just participated in the Canton Fair, brought a selection of over 200 manual, pneumatic, and electric tools for procurement review. The large number of merchants moving from the Canton Fair to Yiwu highlights the expo's significance in the trade circuit.

Organizers leveraged social media platforms like WhatsApp, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram to invite international buyers to the expo. The promotional efforts on WeChat and Douyin have been successful, with thousands of buyers pre-registering for the event, indicating strong interest in the hardware and electrical appliances sector.
