People in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, who plan to go abroad or leave the country for personal reason can receive COVID-19 vaccines in their respective counties, county-level cities, or districts, according to the Jiaxing health commission on Jan 28.

Applicants must satisfy the following two requirements:

1.      Be a registered resident of Jiaxing with a valid ID card or residence booklet; non-registered residents in Jiaxing must possess a residence permit for the city or a one-year social security payment certificate for the city.

2.      Possess a passport, valid visa (not including countries that offer visa-free entry or landing-visa services for Chinese), air ticket certificate, acceptance letter, or other international travel document.
