The 2021 list of the top 100 private enterprises in Jiaxing was recently released by the Jiaxing market supervision bureau and Jiaxing federation of industry and commerce.

The ranking was based on the 2021 financial statements provided by enterprises and their operating income in 2021.

The operating incomes and net profits of private enterprises on the list this year were 15.34 percent and 25.39 percent higher than last year.

Tongkun Group topped the list with an operating income of 110.9 billion yuan ($15.25 billion).

The total revenue of the top 100 private enterprises was 702.3 billion yuan, an increase of 15.34 percent over last year. The number of enterprises whose total revenue exceeded 10 billion yuan was 13.

The after-tax net profits of the top 100 private enterprises totaled 40 billion yuan, up 25.39 percent over last year. Sixty enterprises achieved positive profit growth.

A total of 14.8 billion yuan was used by the top 100 private enterprises for R&D investment, an increase of 21.32 percent compared with last year. The number of effective domestic invention patents was 2,116, an uptick of 7.79 percent over the previous year.

Taxes paid by the top 100 private enterprises totaled 21 billion yuan, up 18.21 percent from the previous year. The number of enterprises paying more than 100 million yuan in taxes reached 32, and their tax payments accounted for 87.74 percent of the total.
