Jiaxing's gross domestic product exceeded 673.94 billion yuan ($99.37 billion) in 2022, a year-on-year increase of 2.5 percent, according to local media reports.

The added values of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries were 14.4 billion yuan, 371.96 billion yuan and 287.58 billion yuan, respectively, up 2.4 percent, 2.9 percent and 2 percent.

The total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishing reached 23.76 billion yuan, up 2.5 percent year-on-year.

The added value of above-designated-size industrial enterprises in the city expanded 3.9 percent year-on-year to 281.56 billion yuan.

The city's investment in fixed assets increased by 7.2 percent over the previous year.

Retail sales of consumer goods in the city totaled 234.27 billion yuan in the past year, an uptick of 3 percent year-on-year.

The city's imports and exports were valued at 440 billion yuan, an increase of 16.3 percent over the previous year.

The city's exports were valued at 321.3 billion yuan, up 14.7 percent year-on-year and accounting for 9.4 percent of the Zhejiang provincial total, while imports were valued at 118.7 billion yuan, a growth of 20.6 percent year-on-year.

The city's total fiscal revenue amounted to 102.99 billion yuan, including 59.64 billion yuan from the general public budget, ranking third in the province. The city's general public budget expenditure stood at 82.77 billion yuan in 2022, an increase of 4.3 percent over the previous year.

In addition, the per capita disposable income ratio of urban and rural residents in the city was 1.56, 0.04 lower than in 2021.
