Situated in Laozhu She ethnic town, Dongxi Rock Scenic Area covers 2.5 square kilometers.

The scenic area is a typical Danxia landform and named after the two stones that face each other from the west and east in the area.

The magnificent view presented by the towering rocks and hills is highly praised by visitors from home and abroad. Its attractions are completely forged by nature. There are plenty of rock caves hidden in the area for travelers to explore and all of the attractions were formed by sedimentary rocks.

Dongxi Rock Scenic Area is an ideal place for visitors to seek sightseeing and leisure opportunities, as well as a natural hub for geologists to conduct studies.

There are over 100 attractions such as the famous Breeze Gorge, Sword Split Rock, General Rock, Rocks of Seven Goddesses, Hole Rock and Stone Beam.
