The first Natural Oxygen Zone of China Industry Development Conference was held in Lishui, East China's Zhejiang province on Dec 27. Lishui was awarded the title of Natural Oxygen City by China Meteorological Service Association during the conference.

In the past three years, all districts, counties and county-level cities in Lishui have participated in the construction of an oxygen city, which has become an important driving force for the development of tourism, health and green industries.

The environment, especially air quality, has become an important reference label for tourists when they choose a destination.

Lishui boasts unparalleled ecological advantages, with the forest coverage rate reaching 81.7 percent and the annual rate of fine days with excellent air quality reaching 98.6 percent.

Lishui's index of ecological environment has ranked first in the province for 16 consecutive years, and public satisfaction of the ecological environment has ranked first in the province for 11 consecutive years.
