South Korea's Yeosu city received donations of medical supplies from Zhejiang's Lishui to help the city battle the coronavirus pandemic on April 3.

Kwon O-bong, Yeosu's mayor, sent a thank-you letter to Lishui for its timely help. In the letter, Kwon wrote that the situation in South Korea is serious, and the materials donated by Lishui have played a great role in the critical period of fighting the epidemic.

Kwon also said that the city's citizens look forward to restarting exchanges with Lishui as soon as possible after the outbreak and taking the friendship between the two sides to a new level.

Lishui and Yeosu established friendly relations in 2005.
