Yunzhong Daji Scenic Area is located in Daji village, Jingning She autonomous county in Zhejiang province's Lishui. With a collection of geomorphologic landscapes, idyllic scenery, historic buildings and mountain agriculture, it is an ideal summer resort for sightseeing, leisure and vacation.

There are three must-see sights in Daji: the ancient bridge, the ancient tree and the ancient temple.

Shisi Temple is the oldest surviving building in Daji, having been built in 1140 during the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1276). The temple is surrounded by a clear creek and linked by an ancient bridge to the outside world. There is a 1,500-year-old Japanese cedar tree, with a diameter of 4.47 meters, near the temple gate, perhaps the oldest tree of its kind in the country.

Additionally, Daji, full of cultural connotations, was the birthplace of nine jinshi (successful candidate of the highest imperial examination in ancient times) and 23 juren (successful candidate in the imperial examination at provincial level in ancient times). These achievements still motivate young locals.
