The Ecological Economy Digital Engineering (Lishui) Research Institute was officially launched at Lishui Radio & Television University, Zhejiang province, on June 6, local media reported.

The institute was jointly launched by Lishui Municipal Government and China Info 100, and the cooperation term is three years.

China Info 100 is a leading independent platform focusing on public policies to guide innovation in the information era. Initiated by 100 leading scholars, entrepreneurs and policymakers in 2013, its mission is to drive China's prosperity and stability in the information age and to promote the formation and implementation of the global digital agenda.

The two sides will cooperate in information sharing, event organization, think tank support, platform construction and other projects. The institute will play an innovation-driven role in the rapid development of Lishui's digital and ecological economy from multiple perspectives and levels, according to Lyu Benfu, the head of the institute.

The institute will use information means to develop and promote demonstration application projects that reflect the important achievements of Lishui ecological products, said Lyu.
