Lishui in East China's Zhejiang province launched a management measure called the Lyugu Score in March this year.

In Qingtian Imported Commodity City in Lishui's Qingtian county, special prices are given to customers according to their Lyugu Score, which is a personal credit scor. For a customer whose Lyugu Score rating AA or AAA, 46 stores in the commodity city offer discounts to varying degrees, and five stores also offer complimentary coffee and wine.

"The sales activity combines Qingtian's characteristic as a hometown of many overseas Chinese," said Sun Yi from Qingtian county development and reform bureau. "It not only reflects the importance of credit, but also helps merchants in the commodity city that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic."

"I only paid 521.5 yuan ($73.82) for 700 yuan worth of goods, a discount of more than 20 percent," said Tang Jinwei, a customer who had participated in voluntary activities during the pandemic. His voluntary work took his Lyugu Score to AA, enabling him to buy imported goods at wholesale prices at a store in the commodity city.
