Yanglyuhu administrative village in Jingning She autonomous county, Lishui, Zhejiang province, has jurisdiction over three natural villages – Yangshan, Dafan and Xinlyucao. It is one of eight ancient villages in Jingning.
The village has distinctive folk culture and architecture. There are more than 30 ancient buildings dating from the Yuan (1271-1368), Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties.
Currently, the village is promoting the integrated green development of culture and tourism. On the basis of protecting its ancient buildings, the village is constructing support facilities, such as public toilets, culture squares and parking lots.
According to Yang Guangsen, secretary of Yanglyuhu village Party branch, this year, the village will launch a project to protect the historic and cultural parts of the village in an effort to create a 3A level scenic village.
