The 2020 Government Informatization Conference was held in Beijing on Oct 23 and the best examples of government informatization were announced, according to officials.

Lishui Online Intermediary Supermarket won the 2020 Government Informatization Management Innovation Award, they said.

The city of Lishui in East China's Zhejiang province has been focusing on the digital transformation of government affairs in recent years.

As an important link in project approvals, intermediary services have had a profound impact on the approval rate of enterprise investment projects.

According to local officials, in order to create a stable, fair and  transparent business environment – and optimize its investment and financing models – Lishui actively explored intermediary services for administrative examinations and approvals.

In the wake of the launch of Lishui Online Intermediary Supermarket in April 2015, it has been fully recognized by all parties and officials said the project owner satisfaction rate has reached 100 percent.

As of September, the Lishui Online Intermediary Supermarket had sponsored a total of 46,300 projects, made 43,500 transactions, with a turnover in the year to date of 3.09 billion yuan ($460 million).
