The Hushan Lunjian Yangtze River Delta Entrepreneurship and Innovation Talent Summit Forum was held on Oct 25-26 in Suichang county, administered by Lishui city – located in East China's Zhejiang province – according to reports in the local media.

Among dignitaries attending were Jiang Huancheng, an academician from the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Xu Zhijun, vice president of Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co Ltd.

They and other 110 guests gathered by Xianxia Lake in the county to discuss the future development of Suichang.

Last year the county came up with a proposal for Tiangong City – which will be an area for optimal environmental conditions that will serve as a springboard for scientific and technological innovation.

Officials said the county has been implementing a program for talent and technology-driven development ever since.

"Although Suichang is located in the southwest mountainous area of Zhejiang, it has unique natural advantages," said Jiang Huancheng, with the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

"I believe Suichang has a huge potential for future development," he added.

Jiang also gave advice for Tiangong City, suggesting it should prioritize its green development.
