Longquan celadon – the distinctive green-glazed ceramics native to Longquan, a county-level city administered by Lishui in East China's Zhejiang province – made a stunning appearance at the third China International Import Expo which concluded on Nov 10, according to CIIE officials.

The celadon produced by the Longquan kiln is outstanding for its translucent glaze, jade-like coating and exquisite shapes.

This year, a celadon piece integrating the CIIE theme – "New Era, Shared Future" – attracted lots of attention.

According to Huang Shunming, the designer, his company is exploring more fashionable cultural and creative products for the new generation of consumers and market demand. He hopes that the Longquan celadon culture can spread to all parts of the world.

The intangible cultural heritage exhibition area at CIIE aims to help domestic and foreign merchants participating in the expo, to further understand the cultural characteristics of China and strengthen their cultural exchanges and cooperation.

According to the CIIE Bureau, this year's expo provided a comprehensive platform for companies from around the world to enrich their business ties and strengthen trade amid the global fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
