Fengyuan township – administered by Lishui city, in East China's Zhejiang province – is a national ecological demonstration township with a pristine environment and long farming tradition.

The regional brand Fengyuan 1,000 – designed to represent premium-quality local agricultural products – integrates its tea, vegetable and fruit with distinctive mountain products – such as lotus, duck and fish co-culture products and traditional Chinese medicine.

In recent years, Fengyuan township has been making full use of its cultivated land resources to develop a mountain planting and breeding industry.

At the same time, with the help of the mountain landscape, Fengyuan has also created innovative agriculture-themed tourist attractions which draw many photographers and outdoor enthusiasts.

Officials say the integrated development of agriculture and tourism is boosting the incomes of local residents.
