Located at the Lishui Sports Center in the Liandu district of Lishui – located in East China's Zhejiang province – the city's first pop-up vaccine site opened its doors for business on March 25, with about 4,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines delivered on-site on day one.
The vaccine facility covers an area of about 1,000 square meters, consisting of seven functional areas including an inquiries area, waiting area, inoculation area, as well as an observation area.
Plans are for about 25,000 people to receive vaccines by the end of April.
The site is free to all the citizens in the Liandu district and more pop-up sites will be set up in other districts in Lishui to meet the large demand for vaccinations.
