To encourage COVID-19 vaccination and to boost the local tourism industry, Qingyuan county – in Lishui city, in East China's Zhejiang province – is offering free tickets to all local scenic spots that are at A-level and above to all Chinese citizens who have been vaccinated.

In addition, a number of local hotels and homestays are providing 10-30 percent discounts to these tourists.

It is understood that the preferential policy will valid until the end of the year, except for Oct 1-7.

Qingyuan is widely regarded as being a perfect place for a refreshing holiday. The forest coverage rate there is currently estimated at 86.5 percent, with its environment and ecology rated as excellent.

The climate is also pleasant, with an annual average temperature of 18C.
