The vibrant culture and tourism industry in Jinyun county – administered by Lishui city in East China's Zhejiang province – has been developing rapidly in recent years.

The county has won the title of demonstration county in Zhejiang for tourism development and has created Lishui's first national 5A-level scenic spot – the Xiandu Scenic Area.

Jinyun has a range of tourist packages and facilities and lots of tourist destinations which are very suitable for short-distance self-drive travel, according to an official from the county's culture, radio, television, tourism and sport bureau.

The county has a slew of A-level scenic spots like Xiandu, original ancient towns like Heyang ancient dwellings, as well as distinctive snacks such as the Jinyun baked bun.

Also, the homestay industry in Jinyun is flourishing. The large number of these facilities can reportedly meet all the special needs of tourists, attracting large throngs of visitors every year.

Jinyun has also achieved major results in terms of staging large-scale leisure tourism activities, including the Xiandu International Half Marathon.
