Lishui city posts 8.3% GDP growth in 2021

The city of Lishui – located in East China's Zhejiang province – registered a growth of 8.3 percent in its GDP in 2021, totaling 171 billion yuan ($27 billion), according to official data released recently.

In 2021, the added value of the primary industry in Lishui reached 10.78 billion yuan, up 2.1 percent, the latest numbers revealed.

The added value of the secondary industry was 63.73 billion yuan, an increase of 9.2 percent, while the added value of the tertiary industry was 96.49 billion yuan, 8.4 percent higher than the previous year.

In terms of regions, last year the GDPs of Lishui's Suichang county, Jinyun county, Yunhe county and Liandu district were on the rise – maintaining gains of 12 percent, 9.9 percent, 9.6 percent and 8.9 percent, respectively.

Meanwhile, the GDP of the four regions accounted for 57.2 percent of the city's total GDP.
