Suichang Tang Xianzu Memorial Hall

Suichang county is where Tang Xianzu, known as the Shakespeare of the Orient, wrote his masterpiece The Peony Pavilion – one of China's Kunqu Opera classics – some 400 years ago during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
