World Photographers Conference to open in Lishui

The 2022 FIAP World Photographers Conference will be held in Lishui city in East China's Zhejiang province on Nov 17-21.
It is the first time the city and the International Federation of Photographic Art, or FIAP are jointly holding the event which is seen as being a milestone for promoting the development of Lishui as a top international photography place.
In 2021, the Lishui municipal government and FIAP signed up to hold the event there and for the city to host the FIAP World Photographers Conference every two years, beginning in 2022.
The conference will invite FIAP members from all over the world and representatives from different fields such as photography, industry, government affairs and business. At the keynote conference, participants will discuss the development trends in photography, show the innovation of the image industry and share the development results of multiple technologies.
The International Photography Lishui List will be released during the conference. It will include leading image artists and photographers with a high influence around the world. After the judging and selection by the expert review committee, three photographers and artists who have made important contributions to the world photography industry will be selected.
The conference will also include two themed photography exhibitions and a seminar on "imaging and education in the digital age".
In addition, the China Photography Alliance of 100 Counties will be established during the event. A total of 122 county-level photographers' associations from 26 provinces (municipalities, autonomous regions and special administrative regions) will join the alliance.
