The 2022 Lishui PHOTO Art Fair, which is the most important exhibition of the 2022 FIAP World Photographers Conference, will be held at Venue 4 of the Lishui Photography Park from Nov 17 to 21.

The fair has attracted 21 galleries from across the country and will display over 500 original works by artists. The most expensive artwork will cost 5 million yuan ($709,700).

The fair is committed to displaying excellent works from commercial galleries, art institutions, and publishing houses, as well as videos, handmade books, and art publications by artists.

The fair will also invite entrepreneurs, industry experts, art lovers, collectors, and curators to cooperate.

"Last year, the fair was mainly for exhibition purposes. This year, we will have an online auction for the first time,” said Shu Qiaomin, a staff member of the organizing committee of the FIAP World Photographers Conference.

Shu added that all the exhibits in the fair are collection-level photographic works with high artistic value.

This is also the first time the fair is promoting the works of local photographers in the global market. A gallery run by overseas Chinese in Italy has organized local photographers in Lishui to exhibit and sell their works at the fair.
