Zhejiang Photography Art Week – a sideline event of the 2022 FIAP World Photographers Conference to be held in Lishui city in East China's Zhejiang province on Nov 17-21 – will open simultaneously in Lishui Photography Industrial Park and in the Art Museum of Lishui on Nov 17.
According to officials, it's an upgraded version of the 19th Zhejiang Photography Art Exhibition – a photography expo with the longest history, most extensive influence and largest scale staged by the Zhejiang Photographers Association.
Over the past 18 editions, the exhibition had displayed a large number of excellent works and has explored many talented photographers. As such, it has comprehensively shown the development achievements and overall outlook of contemporary photography in the region.
This year's Zhejiang Photography Art Week will include a youth photography exhibition that displays the dynamic and lively work of young photographers in the province.
It will also include a themed exhibition that focuses on the development of cities in Zhejiang. Photographers across the province will show the achievements of Zhejiang in pursuing the common prosperity goal through their exhibits.
In addition, a photography exhibition focusing on the development of Bihu New Town in Lishui's Liandu district will be held during Zhejiang Photography Art Week. Local photographers are invited to offer works that record its development and changes.
