Lishui performances at Hangzhou Asian Games event win praise
A big ceremony was held on March 7 at the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games village – located in Hangzhou, capital city of East China's Zhejiang province – to mark the 200-day countdown to the 19th Asian Games.
Performers from various districts and counties in Zhejiang province gave their best, in order to celebrate the upcoming Asian Games.
Two performances from the province's Lishui city – a traditional dance by the She ethnic group called Xian Zu Niang and a children's fitness dance called Dream Flying – attracted high praise.

The dance performance Xian Zu Niang from Lishui's Jingning She autonomous county was exciting, prompting a very enthusiastic response from the audience. The dancers, dressed in florid She costumes, vividly portrayed the daily lives and work of She women, showcasing the diligent, brave, united and friendly spirit of the people.

A basketball-themed fitness routine performed by 18 kids from Dongfang Town Central Kindergarten in Lishui's Jinyun county – with neat and skilled movements – won rounds of applause from spectators.
"The youngest of the performers was only five years old. Their excellent performance could not have been achieved without a lot of sweat behind it," said Zhou Lihua, head of the kindergarten.
About 800 people were invited to watch the show on-site, which also marked the first official public appearance of the Asian Games village.
