Seventeen auto parts companies from Lishui city in East China's Zhejiang province participated in the recent 17th Automechanika Shanghai (Shenzhen Special Exhibition) – showcasing hundreds of products such as air filters, shock absorbers, brake pads and fuel injectors.

Automechanika Shanghai is one of 12 global brand exhibitions organized by Automechanika Frankfurt – the world's leading trade fair for the automotive service industry.

It is second only to its parent exhibition in Frankfurt in terms of scale. It has become Asia's largest and world's second largest auto parts exhibition brands event.

One company, Zhejiang Deming Auto Parts Co Ltd – located in the Lishui Economic and Technological Development Zone – brought its control arm series of products for automobile chassis suspension systems to the expo.

"Among the customers who came to negotiate, there were distributors and local merchants. They were all interested in our products," said He Binbin, exhibitions manager of the company.

Such events make it convenient for enterprises to meet existing customers and to further consolidate long-term cooperative relations, He added.

The exhibition covered all aspects of original equipment manufacturing, or OEM and aftermarket industries – which have synergies with the auto parts industry in Lishui.
