Lishui city hosts cultural, tourism products fair
The 2023 Lishui Cultural and Tourism Products Procurement Conference kicked off in the city of Lishui – located in East China's Zhejiang province – on March 21.
The two-day event attracted nearly 300 businesses from inside and outside the city to showcase their own products and to purchase various cultural and tourism offerings.
The city signed cultural and tourism projects worth 18.46 billion yuan ($2.68 billion) during the event.
The fair aimed to promote Lishui's cultural and tourism resources and seek new commercial opportunities with buyers from across the country, amid China's accelerating recovery in tourism.
Lishui boasts rich natural and cultural attractions. The city has 25 scenic spots above the national 4A level and five provincial-level tourist resorts.
At the fair, Fuzhou Youtu International Travel Agency Co Ltd signed an agreement on tourism product procurements with Lishui's Liandu district.
"Our travel agency sends tourists to Lishui every week. The signing of this cooperation agreement can help us build a better tourist route and promote Lishui to various travel agencies in Fujian province," said Huang Xinling, general manager of the agency.
The fair also featured roadshows about hotels, parent-child study tours, travel agencies, scenic spots and homestays. More than 80 exhibitors from across the city displayed over 1,000 kinds of cultural and tourism products at the venue.
