Lishui solicits ideas for city image slogan

Lishui, a city in East China's Zhejiang province, has launched a global contest to solicit creative slogans that best encapsulate its image and charm.

The contest, which will run from May 6 to June 5, is open to individuals, organizations and institutions from all over the world.

The submitted slogans must be original, vivid and meet the following requirements:

I. They should be profound and meaningful, be based on the concept "inheriting history, based on the present, leading to the future", and reflect Lishui's rich resources, cultural temperament and development characteristics.

II. They should be creative and appealing, highlight Lishui's uniqueness, and be highly distinctive.

III. They should be concise, easy to understand and remember. The slogan can be a sentence or a combination of words. It should also be accompanied by a creative rationale of no more than 200 words.

IV. They should have complete and exclusive intellectual property rights. The contributors will bear legal responsibility for any disputes involving copyrights or other legal issues.

The contest offers various ways to participate. Participants can submit their slogans online through the official website (https://wap2.wxls.pro/2023lscyzjhd/2023/lslh/index.html) or by scanning the QR code below.

They can also mail their works to: Room 1005, Lishui News Media Center, No 2 Huayuan Road, Liandu district, Lishui city, Zhejiang province. (Please mark on the envelope: Lishui City Image Slogan Global Collection. The postmark date will be taken as the submission date.)

The contest will award one grand prize of 20,000 yuan ($2,892); three first prizes of 5,000 yuan each; 10 second prizes of 2,000 yuan each; 20 third prizes of 1,000 yuan each; and 200 finalists of 100 yuan each. There will also be a network interaction prize of 20,000 yuan.

The organizers will conduct a preliminary screening, two rounds of online voting and multiple rounds of review. The results will be announced on Lishui's official website, news app and other platforms as well as relevant national and provincial mainstream media.

The organizers reserve the right to modify, combine and use the selected slogans for any city image publicity activities without paying any additional fees. The contest does not charge any fees for participation. Any submissions that do not meet the requirements will be treated as invalid.
