Eight agricultural products from Lishui city in East China's Zhejiang province have been selected as part of the second batch of "263 Common Prosperity Agricultural Products" in the province, according to local media reports.

The '263' refers to the 26 mountainous regions in Zhejiang, as well as Jinhua city's Wucheng district and Lanxi city, and Taizhou city's Huangyan district. These regions are less developed than other regions in the province. Lishui city's nine administrative regions are all located within the 26 mountainous regions.

The products include rice, dried chrysanthemums, dried bamboo shoots, fruit and vegetable crisps, bamboo shoots, chestnuts, shiitake mushrooms and honey, which are produced by local enterprises and family farms. They are of high quality and are very popular.

Lishui city has been promoting "common prosperity workshops" that leverage the advantages of Zhejiang's "Mountain-Sea Collaboration Project" and various modes of production and sales. The workshops have created a "Party branch + enterprise + farmer" tripartite combination model, where the village Party branch provides assistance such as space, employment and policy support, and the enterprise signs order agreements to create and sell agricultural products.

In 2022, the city's "common prosperity workshops" employed a combined 18,962 people, including 1,383 low-income farmers, further broadening the channels for farmers to start businesses and make money.
