The Lishui City Forest Concert was held on May 13 at the Jiulong National Wetland Park in Lishui, East China's Zhejiang province.

The concert by the Chinese Philharmonic Orchestra gathered renowned musicians and singers who performed 14 classic pieces from around the world, including patriotic songs, opera excerpts, and symphonic works.

The concert was conducted by Xia Xiaotang, the permanent conductor of the China Philharmonic Orchestra.

The concert presented for the first time a symphonic music work that highlighted the local elements of Lishui and the beautiful scenery and cultural heritage of the city.

More than 1,500 people from across the country attended the concert and gave a thunderous applause to the performers at the end of the performances.

"I have never seen such a form of concert before. It is amazing to enjoy music in nature," said an audience member who had traveled from the province's Quzhou city.

Lishui is known for its rich cultural resources and ecological advantages. The concert was part of efforts to promote the city's cultural development and tourism industry.
