Wenchangli 1950 – a cultural and creative industrial park that has revitalized an old factory with history and culture – was inaugurated on June 22 in Lishui city, in East China's Zhejiang province.

The park, located in a more than 700-meter-long alley, is the only remaining old industrial building in the main urban area of Lishui.

It used to house Lishui's first photo studio, cinema, library and State-owned printing factory.

The park has preserved 13 red brick factory buildings and renovated them with modern facilities and design elements. As a result, it is set to become a vibrant space for culture, art, design and leisure in the city.

The park will also host various artistic activities and events, such as public welfare concerts, tea ceremonies, photography exhibitions and more.

Moreover, it's received strong support from the local government. On the day of opening, the Liandu Rural Commercial Bank granted a credit line of 200 million yuan ($27.7 million) to the park to support its entrepreneurship and development.
