European scholars explore local culture in Lishui

A group of European scientists, including Professor Jean-Pierre Bourguignon from the European Academy of Sciences and Professor Oscar Garcia Prada from the Spanish Institute of Mathematical Sciences, visited Qingtian county and Songyang county in Lishui, East China's Zhejiang province from July 10 to 12.

During their visit, Professor Bourguignon delivered a lecture on flexible polyhedral to over 700 university and middle school students in Qingtian.

The delegation also visited the Qingtian Stone Carving Museum and the Rice-Fish Co-culture Museum and learned about ancient villages in Songyang, local efforts to protect ancient blocks, and the rural homestay business.

Scholars also experienced the art of stone carving and seal cutting.
