Electronic Soul, a leading game developer in China, released the latest version of its popular game Dream Three Kingdoms 2 on Aug 17.

The game is the result of a strategic partnership between Electronic Soul and the Jingning She autonomous county of Lishui, East China's Zhejiang province which was announced in May. The game incorporates the traditional customs and cultural stories of the She ethnic group.

Jingning has a history of over 1,200 years and boasts distinctive She cultural characteristics. Dream Three Kingdoms 2 draws inspiration from the mythology of the She culture and players can learn about the legends and beliefs of the ethnic group, as well as view the scenic landscapes and artistic expressions of the culture in the game.

In September, Dream Three Kingdoms 2 will be one of the competition events at the Hangzhou Asian Games.
