Cross-Strait art colleges hold activity in Suichang village

The China Academy of Art hosted a cross-Strait art colleges activity in Dushan village, Jiaotan town, Suichang county, Lishui, Zhejiang province, recently.

The activity brought together 27 teachers and students from both sides of the Taiwan Strait, as well as experts and scholars from various related fields. During the activity, participants discussed and created artworks on topics such as the history, ancient architecture, vitalization and common prosperity of Dushan village.

Dushan is an ancient village with many cultural relics such as stone archways, ancestral halls, gardens and towers. It is the recipient of titles like "China Traditional Village" and "National Ecological Cultural Village".

Jiaotan town has appointed He Chunhuan, a visiting professor at the China Academy of Art, as the chief consultant for the Dushan ancient village vitalization project. It has also invited experts, scholars and students from different fields and colleges to conduct research and create art with the aim of turning the village into a cultural and creative highland and a model for common prosperity.
