Speech contest deepens Lishui-Mishima friendship

The 6th "Lishui-Mishima Sister City Chinese Speech Contest" recently took place in Japan. It was jointly organized by the Lishui People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries in Zhejiang province and the International Exchange Association in Mishima, Japan.
The competition featured three awards: first place in recitation, first place in speech, and the Lishui Mayor's Award. Participants delivered compelling speeches, showcasing their vibrant youthfulness at the event.
The "Chinese Speech Contest" has been held for six consecutive years, with nearly 200 young participants. It serves as an ongoing platform for bilateral exchanges between teenagers from Lishui and Mishima.
The contest aims to promote communication, mutual learning, and the sharing of knowledge among Chinese language enthusiasts in Mishima through Chinese recitation and speeches.
It also contributes to deepening understanding of Chinese language and culture, and fostering mutual affection in the sister city, particularly among the youth.
The enduring friendship between Lishui and Mishima, cultivated over many years, is evident in their close exchanges and cooperation in the youth, education, and culture realms. These ongoing efforts deepen the bonds of friendship and trust between the two peoples.
Both sides are committed to further enhancing mutual understanding through friendly exchanges across various fields, contributing to the continued promotion of friendship between China and Japan.
