Five villages named 'gold 3A scenic villages' in Lishui

Five villages in Lishui, Zhejiang province were recently honored as the province's "gold 3A scenic villages".

The "gold 3A scenic village" is an upgraded version of the 3A scenic village, which has stricter requirements in many aspects, including environment, landscapes, facilities, and services. 

Longxian village in Qingtian county is the birthplace of the rice-fish culture system — the first Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System in China. It promotes the integration of agricultural heritage preservation and rural industrial development with innovative projects such as rice-fish cultural creation and gallery village.

Chayuan village in Suichang county is home to several ancient houses scattered against mountains and rivers. Through reorganization and renovation, it is creating characteristic homestays equipped with gyms, cultural corridors, bars, and other facilities, making it a popular rural tourism destination.

Chenjiapu village in Songyang county, with a history of over 600 years, is known as "the ancient village on the cliff". It combines quaint tranquility with commercial models, with its coffee shops, bookstores, and homestays in perfect harmony with its mountains and forests.

Songzhuang village and Yangjiatang village in Songyang county are well-known traditional villages. They are developing homestays, tearooms, and coffeehouses, bringing new vitality to the tradition.

Shenyang village in Jingning She autonomous county, known for its She ethnic village charm, features an attractive natural environment and well-developed industries such as succulent plants, homestays, and medicinal cuisine.
