Fifteen wine enterprises from Qingtian Imported Commodity City in Lishui, Zhejiang province drew attention from numerous distributors and consumers at the 110th China Food & Drinks Fair held in Chengdu, Sichuan province from March 15 to 22.
In the exhibition hall, visitors from all over the world experienced the aroma of fine wines as they explored over 10 varieties presented by these enterprises, including dry red, dry white, and Eiswein.
Qingtian VRN Wine Company, a regular participant, presented over 40 wine selections at the fair, including seven new varieties, attracting a number of eager taste-testing customers.
"We purchase new wines from Serbia every year that were well received. This year, the number of people here has increased. We look forward to more favorable results," enthused Zheng Hao, head of the company.
During the event, Qingtian also held a wine tasting session. Renowned winery owners from Italy, Spain, and Austria, as well as Serbian wine importers were invited to taste the original imported wine of Qingtian Imported Commodity City and share stories about the wine-making process.
In addition to helping Qingtian's enterprises explore sales channels, the event also served as a platform for Qingtian to promote the upcoming 6th Overseas Chinese Imported Commodities Expo.
From 2018 to 2023, Qingtian has held five sessions of the Overseas Chinese Imported Commodities Expo, as well as three sessions of the International Coffee Expo, which has attracted 1.5 million visits both online and offline, achieving 13.11 billion yuan ($1.81 billion) of intended transactions.
