On April 9, a delegation from Rudolf Stamper Senior High School of Arts and Sciences in Germany bid farewell to Qingyuan Middle School in Lishui, Zhejiang province, marking the end of their 8-day tour.

A total of 24 teachers and students from the German school came for exchange in Qingyuan county, Lishui. This was the third visit between the two schools. The German students paired up with local students, studying and playing together to immerse themselves in Chinese culture.

During their stay, the German visitors participated in traditional activities such as calligraphy, paper-cutting, and pottery, and explored local attractions including Baishanzu National Park and the mushroom town.

They also engaged in activities like building wooden arcade bridges, making dumplings, and experiencing hanfu — traditional Chinese clothing, indulging in the charm of Qingyuan culture as well as traditional Chinese culture.

The German participants expressed their gratitude for the unforgettable experience and the warm hospitality they received in Qingyuan. Similarly, the students from Qingyuan Middle School gained insights into German history and culture, eagerly anticipating future exchange visits to Germany.
