With the vigorous development of the new energy vehicle market, intelligent micro motors, a core technical component in the industry, are receiving increased attention, including in Lishui Economic and Technological Development Zone in Lishui, Zhejiang province.

Many enterprises in the zone are playing an important role in the field. Yanfeng Adient Founder Motor Company, for example, achieved an output of 35.70 million intelligent micro motor units in 2023, with a national market share of more than 15 percent.

Zhejiang Founder Motor Company has been a key player in the sector for over a decade, transitioning from small motors to large drive motors. It occupies a market share of about 15 percent, ranking among the top three in the industry.

"Our company is equipped with laboratories for function, durability, and environmental tests as well as sample manufacturing workshops to support research and development," said Niu Mingkui, the company's chairman and general manager.

"For new energy drive motors, more than 95 percent of the experimental verification can be completed independently within the company," he added.

In January, Founder Motor launched its digital factory, not only signifying a new chapter for the company, but also marking a breakthrough in intelligent manufacturing for the zone.
