Biodiversity flourishes in Baishanzu National Park

The Baishanzu National Park has been a hotspot for biodiversity and rare and endangered species. Located within the central subtropical forest ecosystem, this region is also a critical distribution area for large wild fungi genetic resources in China.
Lishui, in collaboration with domestic and international research institutions, has conducted extensive biodiversity baseline surveys in the Baishanzu National Park. These efforts have led to the discovery of 21 new species, showcasing the rich biodiversity of the area.
The continuous discovery of new species highlights the ecological significance of Baishanzu National Park and underscores the importance of ongoing conservation and research efforts in this biodiverse region.
