The list of Chinese athletes participating in the Paris Olympics was announced on July 13. Of the 405 Chinese athletes, there are 37 from Zhejiang province, including three from Lishui city: Zhou Yafei (sport climbing), Wang Nan (kayaking), and Liu Yaxin (swimming).

Zhou, a native of Songyang county, started sport climbing during her time at middle school. In 2018, she was selected for the Zhejiang sport climbing team. During the Olympic Qualifier Series in Budapest, Hungary, she won second place with a time of 6.52 seconds in the Women's Speed Climbing event. She secured her spot at the Paris Olympics with the highest overall score in the qualifier.

As the first female Olympian from Qingyuan county, Wang showed a talent for water sports from a young age. She finished sixth with her teammates in the Women's Kayak Four 500m at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and claimed gold in the Women's Kayak Double 500m at the Hangzhou Asian Games.

Liu is a renowned backstroke swimmer from Longquan. She has reached the women's 200m backstroke final at two consecutive Olympics. At the 2024 National Swimming Championships, she won a gold medal, two silver medals, and a bronze medal. The Paris Olympics will be Liu's third Olympic appearance, where she will compete in the women's 200m backstroke and 400m freestyle events.
