World Terraces Museum wins international design awards
The World Terraces Museum, located in Yunhe county, Lishui, Zhejiang province, has been awarded the prestigious 2024 Red Dot Brands & Communication Design Award, according to Tide News on Nov 6.
This recognition highlights the museum's outstanding design over numerous global entries.
Earlier in July, the museum also received dual accolades in the 2024 iF Design Awards for Interior Design and User Experience Design, which underscores its innovative approach.

Situated within the Yunhe Terrace scenic area, the World Terraces Museum spans approximately 1,200 square meters. It is divided into three sections: "A Thousand Terraced Fields", "The Natural Beauty of Yunhe", and "Beyond Terraced Fields".
The "A Thousand Terraced Fields" section takes visitors on a journey through time, illustrating their evolution. "The Natural Beauty of Yunhe" uses multimedia to show the coexistence of terraces and nature. The "Beyond Terraced Fields" section focuses on the integration of terraces with modern life.
The museum combines the history of terraces with elements of technology, creative culture, and tourism, providing a gateway for visitors from across the country to learn about China's most beautiful terraces and terraces worldwide.
