The Qingtian Global Talent Technology Incubation Center has been approved, which aims to provide space and services that help international talents to thrive in Qingtian county, Lishui, Zhejiang province, according to Tide News on Dec 13.
As the main platform for attracting talent to Qingtian, the incubation center provides a nurturing environment for talent and start-ups. The center features seven functional spaces, including entrepreneurial spaces, livestreaming spaces, and operational offices, offering ample development opportunities for international talent.
"In the past, foreign professionals coming to work in Qingtian had to handle their own employment permits, that required dealing with multiple windows and spending a lot of time. Now, at the incubation center, there are staff members who do all of that for them, making it very convenient," said Chen Wanlin from the University of Toronto, Canada.
To date, Qingtian has attracted over 1,000 international talents, more than 100 high-level talents, and over 10 talent projects.
Additionally, the incubation center has established a technological cooperation agreement with the Institute of Metal Science, Equipment, and Technologies at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, and facilitated partnerships between local enterprises and 15 domestic and international research institutions.
