Lishui's GDP grows 6.6 percent in 2024

The GDP of Lishui in East China's Zhejiang province reached 218.12 billion yuan ($30.11 billion) in 2024, according to the Lishui municipal bureau of statistics. That represented a 6.6-percent year-on-year increase, outpacing the national and provincial average growth rate.

The primary industry, which includes agriculture, saw an increase in value to 12.13 billion yuan, growing by 4.3 percent. The secondary industry, encompassing manufacturing and construction, contributed 78.74 billion yuan, with a growth of 7.9 percent. The tertiary industry, or service sector, reached 127.25 billion yuan, increasing by 5.9 percent.

Fixed asset investment saw significant expansion, with infrastructure investments experiencing rapid growth. Total fixed asset investment for the last year grew by 8.3 percent year-on-year, which was 7.9 percentage points higher than the provincial average.

In 2024, Lishui's retail sales of consumer goods reached 93.2 billion yuan, representing a 6.9 percent increase year-on-year, which was 2.9 percentage points higher than the provincial average.

In 2024, the per capita disposable income of all residents in Lishui climbed to 50,015 yuan, reflecting a 6.0 percent increase on the previous year.

Urban residents saw their per capita disposable income rise to 61,629 yuan, growing by 5.2 percent, while rural residents' per capita disposable income increased to 33,000 yuan, growing by 7.1 percent.
