At the STAL Group's factory in Longquan, a county-level city in Lishui, Zhejiang province, its new energy compressor production lines are operating at full throttle to fulfill a major order for stators and rotors, essential components in these compressors.

Through independent R&D and advanced equipment, the company's new energy compressors have achieved a precision finer than the human hair, and are supplied to industry leaders like Geely and Leapmotor.

In 2024, STAL Group had an output of 1.07 billion yuan ($147.64 million), marking its status as Longquan's first manufacturing enterprise with the output surpassing 1 billion yuan.

As a leader in Longquan's automotive thermal management sector, STAL Group has specialized in this field for over 20 years. Its core products, including new energy automotive air conditioning compressors and components, are sold in more than 60 countries and regions worldwide.

"Last year, our sales team successfully promoted compressors to enter the European market, securing bulk orders," said Lin Jian, general manager of STAL Group.

Lin said the company exported 290,000 compressors to Europe last year, generating over 100 million yuan in revenue.

"We invest 4 percent to 6 percent of our annual revenue in R&D, holding over 100 national patents," Lin said.
