With the arrival of spring, the outdoor leisure products industry in Zhenbu town – located in Qingtian county, Lishui, Zhejiang province – is experiencing a surge in production and sales.
The outdoor leisure products industry is the bread and butter of Zhenbu town. In 2016, the town began constructing the Xiaohekeng Cultural and Creative Industrial Park, and companies started moving in by the end of 2022.
Currently, the park hosts 10 leisure chair manufacturers and related businesses, forming a complete industry value chain through digital transformation and industry specialization. In 2024, the town's export revenue surpassed 50 million yuan ($6.89 million).
Li Gui, head of Zhejiang Wanchang Leisure Products Co located at the industrial park, said that the factory has been in peak production and delivery mode since the start of the new year.
Goods produced by the company are transported directly from the factory to Ningbo Port and then exported to countries like Italy, the United States, and Vietnam.
In 2024, the company produced 1 million leisure chairs, with a total output exceeding 100 million yuan, marking a year-on-year increase of 60 percent. Export revenue reached 15.36 million yuan.
Since the start of the new year, its production line has worked over 1,000 hours, producing 200,000 finished products. Additionally, orders from around the globe have continued to flow in.
