Lishui's unique culture goes on global journey with SF Express
In an innovative joint initiative, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture, Radio, Television, and Tourism has teamed up with Chinese logistics and delivery services giant SF Express to launch culturally themed packages.
SF Express envelopes dispatched from East China's Zhejiang province to global destinations — featuring special co-branded designs — are now being made available worldwide.
Some of the designs highlight the Huangdi culture and Longquan celadon culture of Lishui in Zhejiang. SF Express envelopes featuring Lishui cultural symbols are expected to be used in 200 million shipments annually.

Jinyun county in Lishui is particularly known for its Huangdi culture. Huangdi, also known as the Yellow Emperor, is a legendary figure in Chinese mythology and culture, revered as a founder of Chinese civilization.
Indeed, a dragon-shaped gilded bronze artifact discovered in Jinyun has brought the mystique of Huangdi culture roaring back to life.
The artifact — believed to be a significant ceremonial object from ancient rituals — now adorns SF Express packaging, highlighting China's unique heritage to a global audience.

Equally significant is the inclusion on the packages of images of the Longquan celadon. Recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage, the Longquan celadon represents a pinnacle of elegance and craftsmanship of Chinese ceramics.
Historically, it was a vital commodity along the ancient Maritime Silk Road, reaching as far afield as Europe.
