Huarui Energy Technology (Lishui) Company — based in Jinyun county, Lishui, Zhejiang province — recently partnered with Germany's Sun Venture to develop the Fast Track mountain electric skateboard project.

"Our goal is to export the mountain electric skateboards developed through this collaboration to European countries, with a target export sales revenue exceeding 100 million yuan ($13.95 million) in 3 years," said a representative from Huarui Energy Technology.

With a focus on high-end racing technology, Huarui Energy Technology targets high-speed electric motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, and utility terrain vehicles.

Germany's Sun Venture — founded by Herbert Diess, former chief executive officer of Volkswagen — specializes in power systems and lightweight transportation vehicles.

Located in Smart Short-Distance Transportation Industry Park in Jinyun county, Huarui Dynamic Energy benefits from a strong local supply chain network, enhancing the production efficiency significantly.

The two companies are working on the Fast Track mountain electric skateboard, aiming for a market launch next year after six months of development. Future plans include establishing a research center to develop new vehicle models.

Jinyun's smart short-distance transportation industry is poised for further growth, with 27 leading enterprises, generating an output nearing 7 billion yuan annually.
