This production line not only improves the quality and yield of celadon products, but also marks a breakthrough in Longquan's production of specialized ceramics, which are suitable for applications in frontier fields, including aerospace.

The centuries-old Longquan celadon industry is quickly transitioning from traditional workshops to modern industrial production. Previously, the uneven quality of raw materials and non-standardized clay formulas hindered large-scale development.

In 2022, Longquan established the Longquan Celadon Resource Development Service, a company that acts as a centralized supplier and quality control hub, conducting precise material analysis, building a database, and developing standardized clay formulas to strengthen the industry's foundation.

Longquan is creating a collaborative and efficient modern industrial ecosystem. It is now home to over 4,600 celadon businesses, employing more than 20,000 people. In 2024, the industry's added value reached 822 million yuan ($114.9 million), a year-on-year increase of 10.6 percent.

Talent development is also a priority. Longquan has established a multi-level training system spanning vocational schools, higher education institutions, and master studios to ensure a sustainable talent pipeline.
