As one of the co-host cities for the Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 in September next year, the city of Wenzhou in East China's Zhejiang province is reportedly accelerating the construction of venues and has seen new progress.
In the Longwan district, the Wenzhou Olympic Sports Centre Stadium Phase II is where the Hangzhou Asian Games football group matches will take place.
It encompasses a 50,000-seat main stadium, a standard 400-meter outdoor athletics training field and other auxiliary outdoor facilities.
It is understood that these facilities are currently awaiting official acceptance, according to a project leader.

The Wenzhou Dragon Boat Centre, meanwhile, is taking shape in Ouhai district.
The second bidding section of the north bank landscape was completed and accepted in August. Landscape construction on the south bank is also speeding up and expectations are that the part north of the expressway can be finished by the end of the current month.
