The awards ceremony for the 2021 "Longgang Cup" Printing and Packaging Design Competition & Expert Session was held at Yingyi town, in Longgang – a county-level city administered by Wenzhou, in East China's Zhejiang province – on Oct 14.
Taking delight in touring the town and visiting an art exhibition – as well as watching the awards ceremony, interviewing experts and communicating with award-winning contestants – was a young media professional called Alexandra.
The Russian media anchor, from the Wenzhou Oversea Media Center, was invited to experience the whole affair – and she had a ball.
Alexandra said that after this experience, she had the answer as to why Longgang is named the "Printing Base of China".
She said the Longgang people's great enthusiasm for the printing industry had impressed her deeply.
"It is so great to have a platform like the Printing & Packaging Design Competition, which allows young designers to show their talents and realize their dreams," she said.
